OKI Techno Centre (S) Pte Ltd Celebrates 10th Anniversary

 

(Singapore, June 16, 2006) OKI Techno Centre Singapore) Pte Ltd (OTCS) celebrated its 10th anniversary at Marina Mandarin Hotel, Singapore. During the 3 hour event, the very first debut corporate video of OTCS was presented, which summarized the research and development achievements of OTCS in the past decade. Mr. Atsushi Kawai, Managing Director of OTCS, gave the opening presentation titled Beyond the Breakthrough, - on the OTCS 10th Birthday. In the speech, he emphasized the focus of OTCS – “the most advanced wireless technologies, especially short and medium range wireless communications such as WPAN, WLAN and WMAN.” And OTCS’ current R & D targets are advanced OFDM technologies and Software Defined Radio (SDR). OTCS pursues win-win solutions and the breakthrough is coming from good engineering & good services. OTCS equation brings value to both of customers, partners and OTCS. As a wireless solution provider, the design service of OTCS includes core technologies and customers oriented design services. OTCS believes Outstanding performance will be accomplished by good Teamwork and Challenging high technologies with Spirit.

The prestige guests from Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the Institute of Microelectronics (IME), the Microelectronics IC Design and System Association (MIDAS), and Cubic Micro gave speeches at the celebration ceremony. From the speeches, we learnt many interesting stories about the beginning, the development and some specific projects of OTCS. And a toasting ceremony was held wishing OTCS a happy 10th anniversary and a promising future.
